Assassins Creed - Black Flag

'Assassins' - The name has always been used to despise bad people until Ubisoft made a dramatic 'U' turn with its masterpiece, making the word as cult classic.

Ubisoft furnished us with 5 installments which made us to glue ourselves to our seats even after the credits rolled out.

Now, The Sixth Installment "ASSASSINS CREED : BLACK FLAG" is just about to arrive with monument sized actions and adventures which promises us for yet another roller coaster ride..

STORY - SETTING:

Black Flag same as its previous installments has its setting in 2 places. One place is the present life scenario and other one takes place in the past, where actions of any place influences the other leading to an event chain reaction.

In present scenario, the player is called by Abstergo industries to use animus for examining memories of assassin. Abstergo particularly asks the player to focus on the memories of Edward Kenway, a notorious pirate living in the Golden Age of Piracy. The story set in the Caribbean and uses ship explorations with combat and land adventures in Caribbean islands.

But Questions are spread out, 

Why the memories of Kenway in particular?

What Abstergo holds that we don't know?

What will they do after they retrieve his memories?

CHARACTERS

The Protagonist is Edward Kenway, an English pirate, father of Haytham Kenway, and grandfather of Connor,( Assassin's Creed III ). Other Pirates are Blackbeard, Anne Bonny, Benjamin Hornigold, Calico Jack and Charles Vane.

 GAME PLAY

The Game Settings - Havana, Cuba , Kingston, Jamaica, Nassau, Bahamas. Black flag also features
around 50 locations for exploration. Assassin's Creed IV incorporates open world feel that allows player to explore the cities around the player which adds to the player's freedom value as opposed to previous installments where player follows scripted missions.

EDWARD KENWAY

The player will encounter jungles, forts, ruins and small villages. The players can also board and capture passing ships and swim to nearby beaches.  The hunting system has been retained from Assassin's 
Creed III, allowing the player to hunt on land as well as on the water.


New feature is "The Jackdaw", the ship captained by Edward kenway. The Jackdaw is upgradeable throughout the game, as well as has easy access to the ship when needed. The player will also have access to a spyglass to examine details of distant (cargo) ships and calculate their strength and also helps to determine if an island has any live form to hunt as well as hidden treasures for high points.

Multiplayer features is added with new settings and game modes but is restricted to land.

RELEASE

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag has set its eye on PS3, PC, Xbox 360,Wii U on October 29 for US and Nov 1 for rest of the world.Black Flag also has been included as an exclusive for PlayStation 4 as well. But it's release in Microsoft's next console is still unknown.

FINAL VERDICT

Black Flag promises us with many value elements which we have not identified in previous installments along with the power and perfection to sink us in it.The trailer of the game was astonishing and awe-aspiring.

 But, still a game can be judged only by its content .. So, lets us wait and watch until we get our hands on it.
